An introduction to Foster's architecture

Given the amount of built work and graphic material produced by Foster Associates it is hard to compress it all in a small volume. This book does a decent job in balancing a clear text which is not just descriptive but provides a good introduction to Foster's philosophy. The material is however a bit dated, ending with the Hong Kong & Shanghai building and thus covering only the first half of Foster's career. Because of this I found this paperback to be a bit overpriced. However it is hard to find new books on Foster at bargain prices, and $ 25 is today, halas, a low price for an architecture book containing color illustrations.
