A classical text for underground excavation design

Prof. Hoek is probably currently the "master" of rock mechanics having not only invented many applied theories ( including Hoek-Brown criteria ) but also being a well known international consultant.
Therefore in this book you can find both the theoretical aspects and the practical applications.
I strongly suggest it for any professional involved in the field.

Poor kindle version

The kindle version has many tables and graphics that are completely unreadable, even on a large computer screen ( forget about using a kindle).
