About the Author
Helen Woolley is senior lecturer in the Department of Landscape at the University of Sheffield. She is Director of the Centre for the Study of Childhood and Youth, a multi-disciplinary research centre within the University of Sheffield. Helen's research interests include social inclusion and open spaces, particularly how under-represented user groups use spaces and the barriers which prevent them from using them. She has a specific focus on children, young people and disabled people.
